Skermetta Guitars was born during the long hot summer of 2011, when master luthier Peter Skermetta joined forces with business partners Curtis Cole and Kelly Koonce to form Austin's first electric guitar factory. Located in the hills of northwest Austin, Skermetta Guitars is creating some of the most exciting new guitars on the planet. Our build shop is wired to produce both set-neck guitars and bolt-on models, but frets are Peter's specialty. On appointment, Peter is happy to breathe new life into old guitars with fret replacements and other adjustments. Many musicians claim that Peter's fretwork is the best in the world, and we invite you to come on by and see for yourself.
